About Us
Renacer Home Care Co-op is a worker-owned cooperative project; based in East Boston, Massachusetts, and nearby cities dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, and culturally grounded home care services. Our mission is to ensure that elders, people with disabilities, and families receive dignified care that supports their independence, while caregivers access stable, fair, and empowering employment.
Renacer was born from a shared desire among immigrant caregivers to create dignified work rooted in solidarity and mutual support. After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the founding group—guided by Cooperative Development Services (CCDS) came together to design a cooperative that responds to the economic and emotional realities of care work.
OUR SERVICES
Renacer Home Care Cooperative provides non-medical home care services, including companionship, personal care, and homemaking support. The cooperative’s goal is to improve the quality of both care and caregiving jobs in East Boston and surrounding communities.
To make these services easy to understand, Renacer groups them into three categories that reflect the natural rhythms of daily life and the types of support families most often request:
Companionship Services: Promoting emotional well-being and social connection throughout
Personal Care: Supporting clients with their daily physical and personal needs, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and health.
Homemaker Services: Helping clients maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.
