RESPLANDOR's mission is to provide a quality bilingual cooperative education for children led by professional worker owners, instilling family values and providing a safe environment based on cooperative culture, principles and values
Our vision is to create an excellent bilingual cooperative educational center that works to promote cooperative learning in Boston. Our center will foster the personal, intellectual, emotional and physical development of children. Through our work, we aim to contribute to the advancement of the cooperative movement and the solidarity economy of the Boston area and its surroundings.
Resplandor Cooperative Educational Center was born from the first cooperative training that the Center for Cooperative Development and Solidarity (CCDS) facilitated in June 2016 in East Boston. Liliana Avendaño, one of the founding members, proposed the idea of creating a bilingual cooperative educational center. From there, we have been working tirelessly in the development of our cooperative. Currently, Resplandor is developing its organizational structure while offering its services externally to raise funds. Its members are pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education, and preparing to obtain the necessary licenses in order to be able to open the Cooperative Center.

Resplandor's philosophy is based on cooperative values and principles. We believe that to make real social and economic change we must begin to create the foundation in children. Love, respect, mutual aid and a commitment to the community, equity and solidarity are the cornerstones of our work.
We also believe in instilling a respect for the environment in the children that we work with.
